While our A5 Cabriolet’s white on brown exterior was something to be admired, the Cinnamon Brown interior was simply amazing. The spicy chocolate leather covered everything from the door panels to leather seats that could substitute for a set of genuine sport buckets any day of the week. As usual Audi made good use of brushed aluminum in the dash, framing the instrument cluster, but also some tasteful wood trim in the doors and center console. Our car came complete with Audi’s multimedia interface, a unique take on the classic iDrive system where occupants control every aspect of the A5’s infotainment, Navigation and vehicle options through the in dash display. It is also worth noting that the A5’s back up camera comes with guidance lines that move along with the steering wheel, a small touch that goes a long way and should be more prevalent in cars that call themselves luxury vehicles.

After a successful and extravagant debut at the Audi Pavilion in Miami a few days ago, the new Audi A8 luxury sedan is now poised to become a new challenger in the race for supremacy in the luxury sedan market – a market that features no less than the BMW 7-Series, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and the Lexus LS.

In the event that you missed the world debut of the A8, check out this video regarding everything you need to know about Audi’s new ride. Who know, you might end up wanting one as soon you finish watching.

We’re pretty sure by now you know that August Horch was the one responsible for Audi. You didn’t? Well, he is (he was also a former engineer for Karl Benz – the other guy in the Mercedes-Benz – tie-up, but that’s not relevant to the topic at hand). As a matter of fact, if you translate ’Horch’ to Latin, you’d come up with – make a wild guess – Audi.

That being said, you can expect that the man whose name bears the brand would have a car named after him. And the company did just that with the Horch – a car that survived until 1953 when the last one was rolled out of Ingolstadt. In recent years, Audi has been in search to find the last Horch that was created in ’53. So they got Ralph Hornung, their resident vintage car locator, to find the missing car.

It’s a treasure hunt that would make even Indian Jones blush.

After months of searching, Hornung found his unicorn in West Texas. We’ve spoiled enough so we’re just going to let you watch the video to find out how Hornung ended up in the most unlikely of places and, more importantly, how the Horch found itself there in the first place.

Jamiroquai front man Jay Kay is a consummate automotive consumer, and if his personal collection of super cars isn’t enough to convince you then just take the German luxury car builder Audi’s word for it because they put the singer behind the wheel of a new Audi Q5 crossover to see what he thinks of the new car. Jay Kay was particularly fond of the Q5’s aggressive exterior lines as well as the full length sunroof that opens up the interior as well as the spacious accommodations for up to six passengers and the ability to carry loads of cargo. But don’t take our word for it, see for yourself.

audi R8 Spider finds its way in Audi’s new London dealership

Barely a month after it was first introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the all-new Audi R8 Spider has found its way into Audi’s new flagship dealership in London.

The convertible version of Audi’s supercar, the R8, the R8 Spider is still not for sale until the spring of 2010. Nevertheless, the car brand has decided to display the car as a way of enticing prospective buyers of what they’re in store for as soon as the R8 Spider goes on sale.

Located in the Irish Sea, the Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) is a legendary time trial motorcycle race. Going back 100 years there have been 224 fatalities as the race sees very high speeds over 34 miles of very narrow and twisting public roads traveling through rolling mountainsides as well as small villages with stone walls, curbs, fences, buildings and of course lots of spectators.
